Questions shop owners ask
Do I need internet?
No. Billing, stock, khata and reports work without internet. Internet is needed only for WhatsApp sharing and Google Drive backup.
What if my phone is lost or changed?
Keep an encrypted backup (Google Drive, Day Closing backup). On the new phone open the app, create a password and restore the backup with the old password or Recovery Key.
Can Desktop N Draw see my sales?
No. Records are encrypted on your phone and are not sent to our server. Only you can open them.
Does it work for GST and non-GST shops?
Yes. Choose Tax Invoice (Regular), Bill of Supply (Composition) or a simple Cash memo. GSTR-1 is for Regular GST shops; please check figures with your CA before filing.
Can I use it on two phones?
Records live on one phone (the owner's). Staff can use the same phone with their own PIN. To move to another phone, use backup and restore.
Which printer works?
Any normal printer for A4 / A5 (or save as PDF). Bluetooth thermal printers 58 / 80 mm are supported in beta — the free RawBT app also works.
Is it really free?
Yes, free during launch with all features. If paid plans come later, you will be told in advance.
